Ralph Fugate, 87, a former Attica resident, died at 12:52 a.m. Monday, November 7, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. He had been a resident of Grace Village in Winona Lake since June.

  He was born March 19, 1896 in Attica, the son of Melton H. and Emma Francis Fugate. On June 28, 1926 he married Dorothy Dreher in Attica, who survives.

  He spent most of his life in Attica and had been a foreman in the machine shop at Harrison Steel Castings Company. He was a past master of Wabash Masonic Lodge 708 and a member of Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis. He was an Army veteran of World War.

   Other survivors include a son, Thomas Fugate of Mentone, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

  Services were conducted Wednesday at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. R. Larry Smith officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery. -s-
